Have been here a week, sleeping during the day instead of the night because of work. Cleaning goes on the whole morning and afternoon on a slow pace. Cleaning staff and employees constantly on their mobile phones. The rooms are tidy, but need a lot of work, bed's are worn out, my bathroom door had a hole "punched in". TV in the room very big, and nicely centered on the bed. The WiFi infrastructure is horrible, it does not work, and when it works, it's just for a few minutes. The breakfast in the morning is limited in options, just cereal and a basic sandwich with some fruit jam's. Nearby markets as WallMart, Lowe's, 7 eleven, Dunkin Donuts, Taco Bell, Subway etcetera makes up for it that at least you can get something to eat in the Hotel. The Hotel itself is completely stenched by the smell of smoking. The lounge has interesting bullet proof glass to protect from surrounding ghetto. Defenitely gang activity in surrounding area's which come alive during the night.

Staff has been great. Very polite and helpful, the building itself needs a lot of work.

Small hotel for the New Haven area but it is in a very good location.the staff is not so friendly.

The hallways smell like cigarette smoke. There is no kitchen in the room, just a refrigerator and small microwave. The TV in my room did not work. The bathroom was dirty and there was hair on my bedsheets. Completely overpriced.

This hotel is not in a good neighborhood and it shows. There is a sign in the parking lot stating the hotel is not responsible for damage to vehicles or theft. Upon entering the hotel the front desk is protected by bullet proof glass. I asked the staff if the security was required and was told the owner had been shot during an incident years ago. Myself and my party were not feeling safe in the hotel. The hotel room itself was vey dirty. I doubt the room is vacuumed but definitely not well. The room number plates were falling off the doors. The bathrooms were not clean. The entire hotel smells heavily of smoke, including the non smoking rooms, which is where we stayed. The sheets on our bed were either not washed well or not washed at all. There was glittery make up on the sheet as well as other stains. I recognize that management cannot do much about the neighborhood but the cleanliness issues could be addressed by management that cares about their business even a little. I paid for my stay and expect a minimal level of quality, thus I cannot recommend staying in this hotel to anyone.
