The most annoying aspect that perturbs me about each Splash Car Wash is that they quote you an estimated time when they'll finish the job - "15 mins" (as if that's reasonable for a basic detail, so you figure a little more) - they take so much time. I have waited 45 mins to an hour when not even getting a detail.
You're greeted with package deals for washes/detailing and it's often a 'let's make a deal' game. It's not that there's the option for negotiation, it's that each time I visit I often have an aggressive sales pitch. Sometimes it's necessary to follow the proper laws of business by assigning a pricing plan and sticking to it.
There automatic machine scratched up my paint job. And the two guys that was supposed to dry my car with towels. They did a half-ass job because I did not get out of my car and tip them. So when I got out and looked at my car they were still water dripping all over it that they did not dry. And they wonder why I didn't tip them.
Like all Splash car washes the job they do is only as good as the amount of workers they have finishing your car at the end. Best to go when you see 4 or 5 guys outsude at the end of the car wash as you go by.
Stay away. I spent 132.91 $ for a detailed wash.... I would have done a better job with my yard hose ....
Flashy advertising and signage but just your average car wash. I don't recall the name of the old car wash at this location that my grandparents used to take me to twenty years ago after we'd come home from church, but it even without the glitz and glamour, it had seemed to have a certain class. There's something about the new car wash that is missing.
No issues with the wash/detail other than the pricing however, a hat was stolen out of my car. I did see people going through the back seat as they cleaned but then walk to the back of the building and return. I didn't think much of it at the time.
I do like Splash Car Wash. We don't have many options in the area. They do a decent job. They could do better.
