I love small planes, I could sit all day watching big and small planes. I love them. Tweeds a Beautiful, Friendly Airport.
Neat little airport that is in the process of building up a nice respectable commercial terminal. The runways are a little on the short side for a regional jet, but all around a fun place to fly with very friendly and helpful ramp personnel.
I always pack snacks when I travel. I love healthy affordable slow food. So if you use this airport, bring your own goodies.
Design/layout in the terminal leaves a lot to be desired. Particularly the fact that there are no signs indicating that food or beverages are not available in the passenger waiting area, and that there is only one restroom in the baggage/car rental area. Once you pass the restrooms and exit through the security door, you may not re-enter. You have to hold it until your luggage arrives, which may take a while in the evenings due to reduced airline staffing. Otherwise, convenient and the security screening is a breeze.
This is a great airport. The location is convenient and getting through security is a breeze. I really think more airlines should start offering service to Tweed.
This is my favorite Airport. They treat you with respect, not like your a terrorist. I hear airport horror stories from everywhere but not from Tweed. I always try to route anyone flying in through there. Same deal with West Chester. They are thorough but treat you with respect & dignity.
This is great for ppl travelling by themselves. I dont recommend for people who are heavy or travelling as a family. I felt like i went through more testing than the busier airports but it was fine. Theres no food only vending machines and no "extra" on the plane which for me is just fine. I like simplicity and hope this one stays simple. Theres no rush vibe or police acting like assholes in the parking lot. I was able to say good bye to my family without feeling rushed.
